As a member, the Minority Chamber of Commerce provides you and your business with many great opportunities. From monthly luncheons, after-hours networking, member leads groups, member to member discounts, and educational events, to directory and member profiles with in our website, you will have the ability to grow your business.
When you join, we assign an Ambassador to come along side you to help you get plugged in. You may also benefit from a ribbon cutting. With any membership, the more engaged you are the more benefits you receive. We look forward to welcoming you!
BUSINESS NETWORKING AND BUSINESS MIXERS
Networking is vital to successful professionals. The LCMC’s business mixers, which feature guest speakers and workshops, are held regularly. These functions give members the opportunity to establish personal as well as professional relationships with others who share their goals for success, meet new clients, promote products and services and develop lasting relationships. The LCMC also encourages networking with other organizations which are dedicated to improving the lives of the minority community.
BUSINESS REFERRALS
Receive direct business referrals from LCMC staff members who have knowledge of you and your business and are able to match you with business people who are seeking your products and/or services. This provides your company the opportunity to increase its exposure, gain information, and successfully develop within and outside the LCMC. Inquiries directed to the LCMC for products and services are referred only to members within the organization.
ENTREPRENEUR EDUCATION AND TRAINING
LCMC sponsors numerous seminars and educational programs, ranging from access to capital and effective governmental policy to marketing strategies. Education and training provides our members the opportunity to gain critical business insights, procurement events/advance notice of procurement, business matchmaking, certification consulting, the ability to learn how to write a business plan, to learn about The financial management and how to do business with other government agencies both federal and local.
MARKETING
LCMC provides important marketing opportunities at little or no cost to our members through event advertising, directory listings, Ribbon Cutting ceremonies, program sponsorship, social media, and other promotions designed to enhance our member’s business presence. LCMC is here to assist you in gaining direct links to businesses in our community.
ADVOCACY
LCMC is your connection to local and state government, as well as our military community. We are committed to being involved with our community by keeping you abreast of opportunities to discuss public policy issues with our community officials as well as offer updates and insight into military deployments, homecomings and other matters affecting our economy.
